TLC adds yet another 90 Day Fiancé spin-off to Fall lineup

SILVER SPRING – Viewers that can’t wait to judge another flaming trash heap of personal failings will be delighted to hear that TLC has managed to round up another ragtag group of grown adults with limited inhibitions. Beginning October 1st, you can tune in to the latest spin-off of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise – 900 Day Fiancé.

The network’s newest addition to its veritable dumpster of human interaction follows six couples during their first two and a half years of marriage. Unlike previous versions of the series, participants did not necessarily have 90 days to wed or apply for K-1 visas. Rather, the couples married quickly after meeting and are now learning about every horrible and annoying habit their partner possesses.

Showrunner Annette Krebsbach says “The show is about love. It’s always been about love. Other seasons followed couples that had developed their relationships for months and had time to learn about each other – even if there were some surprises after they met. 900 Day Fiancé participants won’t have that luxury. They’ve made a potentially awful mistake, and we get to witness them realize it in real-time.

Previews of the season show couple Chelsea (47) and Jameson (21) arguing over which Xbox she would buy him. “I need the Series X, I’m not going to compromise on this,” whined Jameson, who was recently fired from his part-time job at Pizza Ranch. The tense moment led to Chelsea countering with paying for a Series S with a year of Xbox Game Pass. Jameson clapped his hands and went to text his boys afterward.

In another preview, we meet Rhiannon (29), a death doula exclusively for hamsters and hermit crabs, who has married 73 year old Richard. The age difference isn’t the only thing that’s interesting about the pair – Rhiannon says her beau is possessed by the spirit of Bill Pullman. “He’s such a gentle spirit and as soon as I met Richard/Bill, I just knew I had to help him navigate his new form.”

Her aged lover began doing the crossword in pen and the young bride’s eyes began to twitch. Quick to act, she muttered “Every time…” under her breath before offering “Bill” a pencil. Producers have chosen not to inform her that she likely means Bill Paxton, but plan to reveal that at the inevitable Tell-All episode. **Spoiler alert** Richard doesn’t make it to the reunion. Neither does Bill Pullman or Bill Paxton. Or DOES he?

“This show is over 3 years in the making,” continued Krebsbach. “We’ve seen things. We’ve heard things. We’ve had to do a significant amount of editing. There are cameramen that won’t ever look at a bag of Takis the same way ever again. Everyone is in store for a treat. This series has EVERYTHING. Sex. Drama. Anxiety. Shortness of breath. Mild constipation. A soupçon of murder. Fourteen pallets of sriracha left on a runway – fashion or airplane? You’ll have to watch to find out.”

900 Day Fiancé will air on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:15PM to 7:39PM EST and again from 10:36AM to 10:51AM on TLC or the video screens at your local gas station.
